10x12 "Collateral" Chlollie Picspam

I think it's pretty obvious so I won't say anything about Chloe going to Oliver first. The look on her face as she watches him is heartbreaking.



One of my favorite parts. I've convinced myself that I'm not looking too much into it...I honeslty believe she couldn't help herself. The circumstances are insane--virtual reality and all, Oliver's a little messed up...she needed to touch him. There's no time for hugs or kisses but she's missed him so much and finally being in front of him, even if it's in the VR, she needs to touch him even if it's barely a graze.

He. Jumps. With her. Just like that. Chloe: The doorway's only about 800 ft above the ground. Ollie: Oh. Alright.



I love the smile on her face and how she was right there. Again, Ollie's messed up and confused but she's so happy being with him she just grabs him. Love, love her hand on his neck (I swear Chlollie's given me a-hand-on-the-neck kissing fetish after that extended "Warrior" kiss)



And there's his hand grasping the back of her neck!!



Again, I don't think I'm reading too much into it (I'm not!)--he stays close to her. Almost like he can't be too far away or let her out of his sight right then.








I admit it, the sentiment made me cry...hearing Oliver say those things out loud, sitting alone in a room and listening to old messages just to hear her voice. How she had to find the strength to stay away, that one word from him would've had her running back...

...although, and I'm a horrible, horrible (shameful really) person to say this...the dialogue wasn't the greatest. I think any one of our wonderful Chlollie fanfic writers could've done a ten times better job.



But whatever! They're so perfect and beautiful and together again! And they LOVE EACH OTHER!!!! Back in sixth season, when the only Chlollie icons I could make were manips, never in a gazillion years would I have thought they'd have an actual romance on the show. And now...it's an amazing craziness.

I almost want to use your last picspam pic as a banner for a story LMAO and if I wasn't already working on so many things...I just might. Hell I still just might if you said it was okay HAHA.

This entire episode made me squee like a little girl. I was enthralled. I haven't watched a full episode without fast forwarding through certain parts since Escape in season 9. But I watched this ENTIRE episode. I feel like Chloe finally got her welcome back.

Clark apologized in the end and we got a great moment. Lois DEFENDED Chloe for once LOL all the Chlollie...and there was totally a lot haha. It was just so freaking perfect * deliriously happy sigh*

And your picspam putting all those moments together(with comments) Hehe is Epic! BTW...I totally agree on the dialouge towards the end haha. :-)

I haven't watching an entire episode in so long either. I was surprised they did such a good job (in SV standards) with Chloe's return. The Chloe and Clark moment at the end was great. I loved their talk about trust.

One thing I noticed in the last pic. Look at Chloe's shoes. Those heels are NOT on the floor. She's up on her toes. I'm certain it's not only due to the height difference either! :D

This is perfect! And I agree with your comments. And I agree about the last scene too, I didn't think it was bad, but felt a little rushed, but they acting was so great, I looked pass that.

Back in sixth season, when the only Chlollie icons I could make were manips, never in a gazillion years would I have thought they'd have an actual romance on the show. And now...it's an amazing craziness.

OH LOVE! I was there with you, and I don't think anyone but those of us long time Chlolliers can ever understand just how crazy beautiful this whole thing is for us. It's literally a dream come true, and half the reason we get so excited and nuts for them. (And those are tame words to describe it). I love them so much, honestly never have had this kind of shipper reaction to any couple before.

I loved the Chlollie we got. I think there should have been more. I wanted longer kisses with better lighting. haha

In that last kiss, she's kind of standing on tip-toe, even wearing massive heels! I love it.

I love this. So much more efficient than watching the episode over and over and over... usually I only ever want to watch a scene or two more than once, but this entire episode was better than most! From all the Chlollie, to the general sense making of the plot, to other characters being enjoyable (and making logical sense!), this was probable my favourite Smallville in a while.

Oh, and if you're a horrible, shameful person for finding the last Chlollie scene's dialogue a bit clunky, then I'm right there with you keeping you company. I loved, loved the overall sentiment, and it started off so well with Ollie telling her " I just stopped looking for you", but when it delved into looking for her smile on the subway, things got a bit stilted. ("Never to find it". Seriously? Who would say THAT that way??)

They pulled me back in though when he asked her if she was staying in that choked up voice... All was forgiven from there on!

I have to give props to people like you that saw it way back in season 6 (I didn't have the provider at the time is my excuse, but still) and sticking with it when the producers walked around every other possibility before opening their eyes to the awesomeness that is Chlollie.

This... is amazing. I love your commentary, and no, I don't think you're reading too much into it... or else I would be too.

Could the dialogue have been better? Probably, but after Ollie said the things about voicemails and subways, I was done.

I fell in love with the idea of them right from the beginning. They were such a perfect fit. And I think, we (Chlollie fans way back when) were just happy in our bubble that it really didn't matter what SV did.

They're so, so good together. The emotions he put out there, I choked up a little at the voicemails and smile confession. The chemistry is amazing and yeah, the dialogue doesn't matter too much after that.

Um, why would I do that? It's the best part. :)

I focused on some weird little moments too. That moment after his straitjacket comes off and he asks her how she did it, and we get that first really big, gorgeous smile from her and there’s almost a little giggle in her voice when she says, “I didn’t. You did.” LOVE. And the “Do you trust me?” “With my life.” HOMG, I think I needed to hear that as much as Chloe did.

I noticed all the little touches too. AND the hand-on-neck thing with their first kiss. I think it’s because they both really needed to touch bare skin. :) And when Flag and Deadshot interrupted them and he kind of held her against him and she clutched at him for a moment before they both turned around and you could tell they were both thinking “DAMMIT.”

I agree with you about the dialogue at the end. It was bad. Since when does Oliver ride the subway? As usual, Justin and Allison and their eyes sold it.

I love this as much as your picspam for the Warrior/Supergirl kiss. Saving to memories. ♥

The big Chloe smile. I felt anxious watching her watching him right after she stepped into that room. Like she was overwhelmed with seeing, seeing him after so long and how she explained what was happening as he slowely circled around. And then the smile!! He believed her.

I could just see her saying 'dammit' after Flag spoke. Her head bent down like, 'great.'

That's exactly what I thought! What is he doing on the subway?? They could've easily have had him say he looked for her smile on anyone who passed him by on the street, or anything! Yeah, their chemistry and how well they play off each other, the dialogue fades away a little.

Aww thank you for making this, it made me happy. I'm with you, I never imagined Chlollie would actually be canon, EVER. Not with the way Smallville always (mis)treated Chloe, this is shocking and amazing but I'm so happy that after eight years of playing kick the Chloe, she might actually end up happy in the series finale.

this was beyond perfect. I adore your colouring an your commentry is amazing. I mean everything you said was SO true. One of my fave parts in the ep was he was like 'are we dead' and the way he looked at her like (maybe im reading too much into it lol) but like he didnt care he was dead...because he was with *her*...and the ending convo...yeah culdve been better and their kisses should of been closer and longer, atleast 10 secs :-)

Thanks for this! This is so awesome. And yeah, I agree about the dialogue the actual words could have just been written better but AM & JH pulled it off and the emotion was beautiful the look on their faces.

I love that last pic and how they both smiled like that after looking scared. IT's like the end of a chick flick when the couple thinks maybe it's to late for them and then there so happy that the other one wants to be with them. Awwwwe.

The dialogue in that Watchtower scene might not have been as powerful or beautiful as it could have been but their interactions, their facial expressions and their movements more than made up for it. They're wonderfully talented actors and I can't praise their natural chemistry enough. I think I beamed light an idiot every time their was touching too! You're not alone. It's so hot!

And like I said, I'm usually a take whatever I can get person when it comes to SV so I feel horrible complaining about an awesome Chlollie scene. I just wish the scene would've been a little bit longer...it felt like they were given too much for only a two minute scene.

But whatever. Ollie's 'good' and Chloe huge smile after melts my heart evey time I see it. :D

I love this episode so much. It was so woderful to have Chloe back finally. Plus I was ecstatic when she was included in the credits as well. It was a wonderful welcom back for her.

I love all your comments with the pictures. I do have to admit I love with the hand on neck when they are kissing each other. They are just so sexy together. I was surprised by all the touching and squeed each time it happened. The height difference is adorable. As others have mentioned, in the last shot she was standing on her toes even with the heels...and the heels must five inches or something because she barely reaches his chin without them!

Aww, you didn't like it? I guess it was a bit cheesy but I like how they were so happy to see each other yet Ollie was able to express his hurt at her leaving. It was like, "okay, here is what we have to get over and now we can move on". I felt it was a mature, adult conversation. Though fanfic writers do have a tendency to write some awesome lines, which makes it hard for the show writers to live up, as crazy as that sounds!

Like you, I never thought they'd ever hook up but they did and they're beautiful! ♥

I love that Ollie said 'I just stopped looking for you.' Someone mentioned above somewhere that she tried to deflect after that but he wouldn't let her.

I just felt that the wording was a little awkward (one example-what is Oliver doing in a subway??) and that they tried to cram too much into a two minute scene.
