I'd Like to Double Your Entendre

Just the right amount of tipsy right now. Have stupid high tolerance and it's finally cooperating with me today. Been to the the airport twice in three days picking and dropping off people and let me say, the drive to LAX is the opposite of happy and short.

Flying in or out of there is no picnic either. That is my least favorite airport in the US and it's in my top 5 least favorite in the WORLD. Good for you for getting tipsy. :-)

Exactly. Every time I've had to go somewhere I try to get a flight out from John Wayne--which is about the same distance to LAX but it's so much nicer.

I think O'Hare, Chicago would be one of my favorites...they have touch-screen toilets! xD

Any airport with a Vino Volo works for me. :-) You can actually pretend you're somewhere civilized instead of at an airport.

Flying in and out LAX is no fun, but having to go back and forth to the airport is probably just as bad (probably worse, considering the traffic). I don't blame you for reaching for the alcohol. If I was in your place, I would too. *hugs*

I'm feeling pretty okay now so thank you ;D *hugs back* There were other crazy and little things and its just exhausting and frustrating and I needed a good release.

I hope you only got tipsy after the trip. :) I don't mind airports, considering the amount of time I've hung around for delayed or missed flights I guess you'd have to be okay with it not to have gotten locked up for trying to strangle someone. :P But traffic always makes me edgy, especially if I'm sleepy and the traffic to and from LAX was always a nightmare unless you were traveling there at an ungodly hour. Thank goodness caffeine always works on me.

Of course I got tipsy only after the trip! ;P I actually don't mind airports either...when I'm going somewhere. It was just a bad beginning of the week and going to the airport didn't help. Traffic, I think, kills about everyone...I'd pick an ungodly hour over traffic anytime. :)

Unlike my hubby, I prefer to get driven everywhere. I can sleep or read through the trip :D That's why I know there's something very wrong with him when he asks me to drive. ;P It's only happened three times in our twelve years together. I think having kids wore him down a bit. He likes to consider himself invincible, haha. So far in the last two months he's been sick twice, pulled a muscle in his shoulder and is still seeing a physio. Even when in the States, he drove everywhere. I didn't drive once. :( I was peeved. From LA to Las Vegas and back, and then from LA to San Diego and back, all in a week. Even when I knew he was getting tired he wouldn't let up. My cousin tells me that the Sat Nav keeps a record of your trips, he says it's a miracle we didn't get pulled over for the speeds DH was doing on the interstate.

Outstanding, enjoy, I'm sure you deserve the tipsiness! :) I sympathize - have a very high tolerance myself. It has to be the right kind of alcohol, in the right amounts with the right timing or else I can drink all day and be fine. Which is not a bad thing usually, but sometimes is annoying.

I know! I just find it annoying ;). I rarely drink and when I do I wanna feel something but yeah, right amount and right timing and all...
