1. Soo...I did something stupid...involving my thumb and a car door. I was frustrated, coming from being at the DMV for a few hours, and I was pulling a whole bunch of stuff out of the car and then the car door tried to kill my finger. Nothing broken...just very, very painful. Blackish nail, swollen and doing everything with one hand.

2. I'm sooooo excited about this new show starting on Monday, Rizzoli and Isles. It's adapted from this series of books by Tess Gerritsen that I love, love, LOVE and I couldn't believe that they were actually going to make a show out of it. There are a few things I was worried about...Jane Rizzoli (my favorite character) is supposed to be this really Plain Jane, tough and messy cop and she's being played by Angie Harmon--who is beautiful and not plain at all. But I saw a clip and I loved how she played it. Maura Isles, played by Sasha Alexander, is NOT supposed to be interested in fashion. She's supposed to be this ice-cold, scary, intimidating medical examiner with jet black hair...but I'm still jumping up and down like a crazyyyyy person. :D

1. Ouchies!! I hope you're feeling better! I myself have been awake since 3am with my own brand of pain because I went swimming yesterday without sunscreen and am now nicely burned, so much that it woke me up. I was told wheatgrass juice, applied topically, is great for burns and bruises, and since I'm sitting here covered in a mixture of wheatgrass juice and honey (what with the green juice and the red skin- I feel like a giant Christmas ornament), I can attest that the burns feel slightly better, if not stickier. Maybe it would help your hand, too.

2. I KNOW! I love Angie Harmon, too, so I'm excited to see her in a new series. I was livid when I had to watch Elisabeth Rohm on Law and Order after the lovely Angie left. Boo! So glad she's got a new show!

Hope you feel better!!

Thanks :). It still hurts if I even barely touch it but the pain is so much better compared to before. Aw, I'm sorry--sunburns are miserable. Try sleeping on top of your covers and build a fort out of your pillows so you don't roll over onto the side that's most burned. I'm willing to try anything so I'll definitely try the wheatgrass juice. I'm just really scared that my nail will come off (sorry, TMI I know). I'm worried about going to bed in case I accidentally hurt myself even more!

Hee. I bet your the best looking giant Christmas ornament ever though...;) I hope you feel better too!

It's gonna be such an awesome show! I read these books yearrsss ago and finding out it was being turned into a show was...awesome :D. And I've loved Jane Rizzoli from the beginning--I can't wait to see how AH plays her.

OMG! OUCH! I hope you feel better. That sounds very painful. *hugs*

I'm so excited for that show and I'm really glad I'm not the only one! I loved Angie Harmon on Law & Order and I really liked Sasha Alexander on NCIS so I think they'll make a great combo. I'm going to miss the premiere cuz I'll be in San Diego and hanging with friends but hopefully it'll be good! :)

It is better now. Still doing things with one hand though. It takes twice as long just to take a shower! :)

Yay!!! So i'll be able to talk about it and at least two people will know what I'm talking about! :D The little preview that I saw I was really with how Angie Harmon was as Rizzoli. Big NCIS fan too so yeah, I know SA from there.

Hope you had a great time in San Diego!

Sorry about your thumb - hope it's all better now.

So what did you think of Rizzoli & Isles? I've got the first two saved on my DVR, but haven't watched them yet. I like Angie Harmon a lot, so for her sake, I hope it does well. I love The Closer and Leverage, but none of the other TNT shows have really pulled me in yet.

It's a lot better, thank you :).

Ahh, I'm not sure...I'm already biased because I love the books so much. I couldn't be happier with how Angie Harmon is playing Rizzoli. I think, since it's only been two episodes, maybe you'd need to wait for a few more to get pulled in. Just based on the second episode...the characters are interesting but I think the plot needs work. The mystery of the case they were solving felt kind of rough and too predictable.

But the first or second episode of a lot of shows feel a little off at first...I'm hoping it'll get better and find it's footing or something.

You should so watch it though so I can have someone to talk about it with. ;)
