Title: Rainy Sunshine
Pairing: Chloe/Oliver
Summary: Some time after "Salvation." Chlollie reunion.

I got kind of emotional (so good warning--I'm already not thinking straight) after the Lost finale and then this came pouring out...and I have no idea how because it's not even the same fandom.

* * *Going to be fine.

Only a matter of waiting.

He opens his eyes. Eyes slowly moving left, to straight, to up. And then finally to her. He looks blurry and shiny and she realizes it’s because she’s smiling at him through tears. He smiles back without thinking, curling his fingers around the small hand wrapped around his.

A breathless laugh and she tightens her grip. Not quite believing it but wanting to so badly. “Hey…I’ve been waiting for you.”

He’s not a little confused. His mind’s not functioning right through the fog. How’d he get here? How long has it been? What happened? Was everyone alright?...

But each question floats away faster than it comes. None of that mattered. She was looking at him like that. Smiling at him. Holding onto him like she’ll never let go.

“Hope I didn’t keep you waiting too long.”
