If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong

1. RL went a little crazy so I've been a horrible LJ friend (not that I was ever a good one before :/) but just wanted to say sorry and that I'm going to try to do better. :)

2. The four hours I had to stand and wait for the Smallville and Supernatural panel at Comic Con was worth it just to see the cast. This was my first year going so I had no idea what to expect except for the thousands of people. I'd probably have nothing new to add that hasn't already been reported somewhere online so just what I can't help but say...

Justin Hartley was sooo cute!! He seemed kinda like a bored little kid who was told to sit there and just made the best of it by amusing himself. Two of my favorite moments? That made me crazy happy...

Allison on being Watchtower this season: 'I love being in control. It's awesome. And I get to tell all these guys what to do...' And then right after, Justin on what Green Arrow was doing there since he'd supposedly thrown down his bow: 'I like being told what to do.' xD

Some wonderful, wonderful fan yelling 'Chloe and Oliver!' and then Allison saying 'Chloe and Oliver.' And Justin making a funny expression like 'sure, why not.' :D

3. I have the weird urge to write fic. And I'm not a good writer at all--I like sticking to art. :)

4. Reply to this meme by yelling "WORDS" and I will give you five words that remind me of you. Then post them in your lj and explain what they mean to you.

I asked and [livejournal.com profile] starry_dawn gave me 'Chlean, Sam Winchester, Bollywood, cheese cake and books.'

Chlean - Two of my favorite characters. One of the two pairings I will always follow. I honestly believe they'd be perfect for each other. They're so alike in ways. Chloe would see and love everything Dean truly is, and vice versa. They're always the ones giving everything they have to the people they love and if anyone deserves happiness it's these two. (With each other! :).

Sam Winchester - I don't remember what it was for but I mentioned it to [livejournal.com profile] starry_dawn awhile ago and I'm just gonna say the same thing here. Although I am a "Dean!girl" that doesn't mean that I don't love Sam as well. I've never been able to understand how someone can be a fan of Supernatural and not love Sam and Dean both. No matter what he does, if it's Sam from season one or season four...I could never dislike him. It's Sammy! 'Nuff said.

Bollywood - I'm pretty sure Bollywood was my very first love. It's like my childhood (cheesy, yes? :D). I probably started watching Indian movies when I was a baby. According to my mother, I was already a crazy fan at the age of three--sitting in the theater, jumping in my seat with laughter and shushing people three times my size to be quiet during the movie (I would never have the nerve to do that today!). The music, the insane and dramatic plotlines...I'm not as obsessed now but the love is still there.

cheese cake - I was wired wrong. I don't really have a sweet tooth. I could probably enjoy a small bite of cake, candy or something...and then I usually eat something salty to cancel out all the sweetness...I know, weird...:)

books - I wish I could be more intellectual and say that I've read all the classics and 'so and so' is my favorite...but the truth is, I'm an action junkie. My nose is most likey buried in a murder mystery (you know...the ones where there's always a shocking truth revealed at the end of each chapter, plenty of gory descriptions...). I'm like a kid, I get distracted easily and like to read something where I keep turning the page because I need to know what happens next.

OMG. I didn't know we shared so many traits! I have an insane salt tooth as well. I can't take more than a few bites of anything sweet or I'll gag. And I love action/mystery books as well ... they're my favourite kind. I can devour Agatha Christie books like no other. And of course, it goes without saying that I love Bollywood. It's part of my culture. And Saaaaaaam. <3 I also think Chloe and Dean would make a FANTASTIC pairing. They're so meant for each other, it's not even funny.

It's so amazing that you got to be at Comic Con, especially considering Tom showed up this year! I saw the videos of the panel, and I want to kiss that person who yelled out "Chloe and Oliver". Justin's expression after that comment was SO FUNNY!

[identity profile] tehzo.livejournal.com 2009-08-04 08:34 am (UTC)(link)
Hee. I had no idea either :). Salt tooth! Why didn't I think of that before?...I'm exactly like that too!! I can't handle too much sweetness. I don't feel so alone anymore ;D. All of my family and friends love sweets...and yeah, I feel like gagging just looking at the dessert menu pictures at restaurants. Mystery books are the best! You absolutely can't put them down until you finish it. It's hard not to ship Chlean! :D

It was amazing. I've only been to two conventions before-both were SPN. But to see the whole SV cast...I may not always be happy with it but I've been invested in this show for sooo many years- it was beyond awesome.

I know! I really wanted to hug that person. And then for Allison to say 'Chloe and Oliver' right after and Justin's reaction...yup, died a little bit in happiness then. xD

I wish I could've gone to Comic Con this year, but I live so far away and can't fork over the small fortune to get there. :( Oh well, there's always the YT vids, right? ;)

[identity profile] tehzo.livejournal.com 2009-08-04 08:42 am (UTC)(link)
I'm a college student so I can definitely understand. The only reason I went is because I'm lucky enough to live only two hours away. YT vids are the best!...you can watch the best parts over again. :)

[identity profile] iliana-1.livejournal.com 2009-08-03 01:59 pm (UTC)(link)
I didn't know you were at CC. WOW!! You saw Tom and Allison and the rest. Yay!! Allison and Justin's reactions at Chlollie were very funny :D

I love Bollywood too. I grew uo watching it and loving it. My dad has every single Amitabh Bachan movie up in the attic. All the videos are boxed up and he refuses to throw them away despite the fact that we have most of them on DVD now.

[identity profile] tehzo.livejournal.com 2009-08-04 08:59 am (UTC)(link)
I had gotten the ticket a few months before but because I wasn't absolutely sure I was going to go I didn't want to say anthing. I probably would've still gone because of Justin but I was waiting/hoping-like-crazy to see if Allison was going to be there too. It was so amazing!! Tom seemed so shy and was sometimes unsure of what to say...I've, of course, always liked him even though he wasn't my favorite out of the cast--but I think my love for him grew a little more after seeing him at the panel (he was adorable!).

Really?! My mom is the same way!! She'd most likely beat up anyone who touched her Rajesh Khanna movies. :D

[identity profile] ellanorasedai.livejournal.com 2009-08-03 09:18 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh so cool that you got to go! LOL @ AM and JH, and since it seems the chances for Chlark are completely off the table, I am all for Chlollie.. :)

You are right on with your assessment of Chlean - both would do anything for the ones they love.

I am a SamandDean!girl. I identify with Dean slightly more (older, protective sibling thing) but I can't love one without the other.

Go ahead, throw me some WORDS if you want.

[identity profile] tehzo.livejournal.com 2009-08-04 09:23 am (UTC)(link)
I am all for Chlollie..

Just what I Iike to hear...xD. It was amazing. And even those two little tiny moments between AM and JH (there were like five people sitting between them too!) was worth the three hours of standing.

...but I can't love one without the other.

Yes! Exactly! They're a package deal.

Okay, words!...vacation, Chloe Sullivan, writing, food, and Supernatural.

You got to see Justin Hartley in the flesh? *jealous!!!!!*

That's so cool that you got to go to CC, though. I bet that was an experience!

And I LOVED reading all these neat little tidbits about you- especially that you're a mystery-book junkie. You'd be appalled at the way I treat books. Whether it's mystery, romance, whatever, I always read the first chapter and then the last four pages of the book before I commit to it. I know- I'm awful! But I have no patience and I'm always more interested in the seeing how authors get from A to B than I am in being surprised by some great plot twist at the end. Plus, I want to make sure I'm not wasting my time with a book whose ending I'll hate. I'm such a ruthless reader! ;-)

Oh, and cheesecake is awesome!

[identity profile] tehzo.livejournal.com 2009-08-04 09:56 am (UTC)(link)
It was so awesome (:D I keep saying that but it's true!). I said it to someone above as well...for better or worse, I've been with this show for so many years...and to see Allison, Justin and everyone else was such a wonderful experience!

...I always read the first chapter and then the last four pages of the book before I commit to it. I know- I'm awful! But I have no patience and I'm always more interested in the seeing how authors get from A to B...

Lol! No, you're not awful...it's just an interesting quirk :D. But wow, so then I wonder--do you think you enjoy whatever book as much even though you already know the ending?...I've never known anyone who does that! I'm usually so insane about it, once I get to the last chapter...I'll cover the next page just to stop my eyes from flickering over and spoiling myself with something (...that seems a lot more weird now that I read over it ;D).

[identity profile] iluvaqt.livejournal.com 2010-11-07 10:50 pm (UTC)(link)
And I learn a little more about you every time I visit. :) Books were my past time in excess years ago. I could read a 400-odd page book in a night and 900-odd over three days. Back when I didn't have to cook every night, work a job or raise two kids. :P Now I'll be lucky to read a couple books a year. My free-time only allowing to read short fanfics or comics, a couple times a week.

I love cheese cake. Chocolate being my favorite, although New York style with whipped cream and fresh fruit is pretty yummy too. Although my first favorite dessert is Pavlova, followed closely by sticky date pudding.

Anyway, onto how I found this post in the first place. I was looking for what Justin's response to someone yelling Chloe and Oliver at the Con. Did you hear anything? I watched a couple vids and I have an interpretation but I don't want to tell you yet, since you were there I was hoping to get your take. =)

[identity profile] tehzo.livejournal.com 2010-11-10 01:24 am (UTC)(link)
Well, at least there's still fanfic :). Yeah, I definitely miss when I had the time to read a whole book in one day because I couldn't put it down.

Cheese cake is good. I have more of a salt tooth but whatever sticky date pudding is, it's sounds interesting!

I'm not entirely sure what he did, his expressions were funny though. Someone yelled Chloe and Oliver and then AM repeated it. And then right after, Justin...sort of licked his finger and marked one in the air. Maybe like, 'Sure, you've got my vote.'

[identity profile] iluvaqt.livejournal.com 2010-11-10 02:22 am (UTC)(link)
:) I saw that gesture. I thought on one vid he said something like, " who can say no to this face," and then does that score another one for Oliver. :)

Guess unless we can get confirmation from Erica, or the man himself, I guess we'll never know, because I don't think he leaned into the mic at all.

I just love food all together. Sweet, savory, salty, spicy. I love salt and vinegar chips, and double salt Dutch licorice and my favorite savory sauce is wasabi. I'm a little crazy I can have it straight on crackers with peanut butter. Then again, I think I can mix peanut butter with just about anything. Oliver wouldn't be able to get within an foot of me without feeling itchy. I had to stop eating it while pregnant, nursing until both my kids were two because of possible allergies, now it sits in the cupboard and I'm the only one who eats it, and occasionally I bake peanut butter M & M cookies with it.

If you want to try your hand at Sticky Date... the best recipe I've tried...

My keyboard/mouse and love-hate relationship. Occasionally I want to toss it out a window. I almost lost my reply. Thank you back button!

BTW did Bella pass along my comments on your banners?

[identity profile] tehzo.livejournal.com 2010-11-10 03:14 am (UTC)(link)
Another score of Oliver makes sense. I think I only caught the end of it while I was squinting from way back at my seat.

Aw, that's awesome. My best friend is like that--she loves all food so she'll try anything. Love salt and vinegar chips. The Sour and Cream Lays chips are my favorite--instead of chocolate or anything else, those are my weakness. I'm tempted to try the crackers with peanut butter and wasabi sauce because it sounds so random to me. Except I'm not sure I can't handle the spicy :). I'm Indian and Indian food is known to be spicy but (being the strange person that I am) I'm so weak and start crying at even a hint of spice.

Thanks, I'll have to try it! :) And man, my mouth is watering at the picture.

Oh, no, she didn't. You've seen the recent ones?

[identity profile] iluvaqt.livejournal.com 2010-11-10 03:34 am (UTC)(link)
If you love random, then you must try beetroot and peanut butter on toast!

Oh I love Indian food! Daal, roti, butter chicken, tandoori, curry puffs. I'm getting hungry again just thinking about it.

I have to run to pick up my boy from kindy but I'll be sure to sit down and give you a detailed run down on the latest as soon as I get a chance. I think I've seen three =D
