The convention was great, wonderful, amazing...I think the panel q&a's were even more fun than last years! It really was a wonderful experience. One of the many memorable moments for me was when someone asked Jensen that we all knew how hard they've worked on this show so what could we, as fans, do for them. And he said something like just keep doing what you're doing. Watch the show, show your love-like at conventions like this and that wearing a t-shirt with his face on it (like the fan was)...that was gratification enough!

A little-ish report on my photo-ops and autographs with Jensen & Jared, and some pictures...mostly, a lot of fangirl squeeing. Just a fair warning. :)

The photo-ops: the first photo-op was with Jensen. And being a crazy Jensen fan, I was a bundle of jittery nerves. I don't even remember smiling or looking at the camera I was so nervous and excited (...yes, I actually am this silly :). And he was standing! (he'd decided to forgo the chair a few people before I got up there). All I do remember is how tall he was and how he had to look waaaayy down at short, 5'1" me. He said hi and asked how I was. I think I mumbled that I was good.

Then, after a long wait, was Jared's photo-op. I went and stood next to him and Jared just gave me one look and said "I'll bend down for you" (which I'm sure he said about 99.9 percent of the time :) and bent down so that his head was next to mine. I shifted a little and looked at the camera...and then after I realized for two seconds nothing happening (Jared didn't move to pose for the picture and the photographer didn't take it)...I looked back over at Jared and finally noticed that he was still bent down and was staring at my shirt (it was a birthday gift--it had Sam, Dean & little John, Mary & YED as South Park characters). He laughed a little and said that's funny and put his arm around me and smiled for the picture. Being silly again--but he commented on my shirt!

Autographs: At one point standing in line, I could see them both clearly and was having trouble deciding who to stare at more. Right before I got to Jensen, he'd dropped a handful of gummy worms into his mouth. His mouth was still full of them as he said hi to me and then right after "Sorry, I'm eatin' candy"...I don't care how it sounds it was cute and funny! When I got to Jared he noticed the shirt again and said "yeah! South Park!"

...being a very shy person just generally and then being in front of them...I couldn't do anything else besides smile and say 'thank you.' I told my friend afterward and she rightfully called me stupid and said I need to plan ahead of time what I could say the next time.

You're so lucky. I've always wanted to go to one of these convention thingys, but never can.
You and your nerves. Daww.w I'd probably get nervous too, or act completely stupid.

I was very lucky to get the chance to go. I was nervous and completey stupid in front of them! :) I really hope you get a chance to go to at least one--they're so worth it.
